Christchurch Town Council has commissioned the Coronation Task & Finish Group in partnership with Christchurch Priory, Business Improvement District (BID), local schools, businesses, civic interest groups, residents organisations and BCP Council to agree an exciting three day series of events and commemorations to mark the coronation of His Majesty, King Charles III and Camilla Queen Consort.
With fixtures including live public showing of the official coronation ceremony and coverage, picnic in the park and celebratory day of commemoration on Saturday 6th May and Coronation Service led by Christchurch Priory Sunday 7th May there’s something for everybody and plenty of opportunity for our local community to come together in its own way to mark this special occasion.
