
Community Engagement Officer
JOB SUMMARY:
Christchurch Town Council was formed in 2019 following Dorset’s Local Government Re-Organisation. The Town Council serves a population of approximately 48,000 residents.
As part of its growth and development the Town Council are seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Engagement Officer to join our team and help us strengthen our connections with the people we serve.
We are committed to making Christchurch a better place in which to live and work and we now wish to grow our team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an interesting and varied role with scope to take on a variety of different tasks.
Reporting to the Town Clerk direct, the role will be to develop, deliver and raise awareness of Christchurch Town Council through community engagement activities that supports the Town Council’s ambitions and strategy
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who has the confidence and ability to work and communicate with various individuals, groups and stakeholders across the Council.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Town Council and helping us to deliver some key priorities along the way.
