Robert Luscombe lives in West Christchurch with his wife, Dee, having relocated from Cheshire 3 years ago.
Robert’s working life was within the Pharmaceutical Industry, working for Glaxo, Reckitt & Colman and AstraZeneca.
Volunteering has been an important part of his life over the last 10 years, working with the local Council and MP’s in Cheshire in support of environmental matters, including several years of successful entries to Britain in Bloom. In addition, he spent several years as a volunteer with The Canals & Rivers Trust, helping to build and maintain our waterways heritage.
Since moving to Dorset, Robert has continued his volunteer activities with the Maritime Volunteer Service in Christchurch harbour and as a vaccination volunteer during the last 15 months, having also recently qualified as a Volunteer Vaccinator with St John Ambulance.
More recently he joined the Christchurch Town Neighbourhood Plan Working Group helping to develop the local Neighbourhood Plan for Christchurch Town.
