Cllr Lindy Stuart
Born in Salisbury and started my early days living with my Mother and Father in a Cottage attached to a Dairy, where dairy and river life were amazing.
Growing up around businesses, and properties which gave me instinctive progression to one day running my own.
I left School, and went to Art College, whilst working full time in the centre of Salisbury with an Apprenticeship in Hairdressing. working extremely hard, whilst supplementing my income working at a local restaurant.
I then started my own business selling second hand clothing, which I bought at Jumble Sales, and sold at Markets, it was hard work, but I made some good contacts, and life friends, and progressed to….
I bought my shop and moved to Christchurch in 1997, with my daughter, where we lived above the shop in the Bargates.
I quickly got to know so many local people in the area, and made more wonderful friends.
I am still running my Shop which I love.
In the last few years I have taken a keen in depth interest in the political world, and currently have many concerns, what will become of our Town and High Street, and Local Businesses.
