
Cllr Stuart Perry
Grew up living at No.1 Friars Road (which his father built in the garden of The Gables) whilst attending Christchurch Grammar School.
Went on to study electronics at Southampton University.
Then worked at SRDE Steamer Point in the late 1970s as a Scientific Officer developing night vision equipment followed by several years as a special projects manager at Gardners Transformers Ltd in Somerford.
Decided to go self-employed and started own market research business, carried out several successful projects for Christchurch Borough Council Planning, Leisure, Corporate and Economic Development departments.
Most recently running the electronics service department for a local well known theatrical sound and lighting company.
Now attempting to retire and set up his own local electrical and electronics appliance repair business.
