Cllr Vivienne Charrett
Viv is a councillor for Jumpers and St Catherine’s ward, where she lives with her daughter, son-in-law, small grandson and Millie, the large Bernese Mountain Dog. During the last Council she chaired the Jubilee and the Coronation Committees, and was on the Planning, Neighbourhood Plan and Community committees. She was deputy Mayor in 2022/3 and Mayor in 2023/4. She is also chair of the Christchurch Carnival.
She has a background in the Lighting Industry, with a degree in Engineering and an MBA from the Open University. She worked for Thorn, Philips and GE (USA) during her career and worked in the USA, Hungary and Scandinavia. She was also chair of the Parish Council in Radlett, Herts and chair of the Radlett Festival.
